Automotive is no longer an option but an engine — a record $1.6B quarter, +61% YoY and a 23rd consecutive double-digit quarter, on a ~$6.4B annualized run-rate against a $45B+ design-win pipeline.

Bottleneck / pricing power. Licensing pricing power is legal and durable; silicon pricing power is eroding at both ends. Apple's modem share at the next flagship is guided 'materially lower' than the prior ~20% estimate, and management called memory-price increases 'unprecedented,' squeezing QCT margins while simultaneously constraining customers' handset builds. On this cycle Qualcomm is a buyer of the memory the AI build-out is bidding up, not a seller of it.
